Three former classmates gather for the regular sit-round gathering behind a vodka bottle, indulge in cheerful memories of the student’s past, discuss wives, girlfriends, work – generally, are engaged in in what it is accepted to be engaged in the man’s company Friday evening. Everything goes on a nakatanny track while on a threshold of the house there is no long ago the general girlfriend who has left the company of whom everyone in youth was enamoured. Conversation is not glued, there is no yet an idea «games in the truth» – friends answer tricky questions most sincerely, than open for itself mass of unpleasant details from the past. Such what can give up as a bad job twenty years’ friendship.

Slowly, little by little Victor Shamirov from the serial screenwriter turned into the recognizable director, whose old works appreciate, discuss and reconsider, and new the Hollywood blockbusters wait with not smaller awe, than. At first Shamirov occurs "Savages", then «Exercises in fine», and afterwards and «To me here that» opened any light door in a cinema for the people, not too favoring an art house with its indispensable seamy side and, on the other hand, not accepting popkornovy entertaining cinema. His pictures – intelligent contemplation, a cut of generation too young to feel nostalgic for the Soviet Union, but the adult suffices to take all pleasures of the contemporary Russian history.
Special interest of the viewer to the new film was connected with that Victor Shamirov, itself engaged in scripts for the pictures, took this time the play of the French actor Philippe Lelush debuting for a basis «Game in the truth» in dramatic art. Inveterate theater-goers know that the play was put on a theatrical stage and with success there is any more one year, and in it too there was a certain call – not all performances are successfully transferred on the big screen.

As a result film theatrical «Game in the truth» hastened to accuse of excessive theatricality: multiple close ups, the dramaturgic courses which are usually inherent in a scene, the closed space of action. But whether it is necessary to reproach it with a picture? The film literally places the viewer in the center of statement and turns around a round dance everything an hour and a half screen time so what to reflect on theatricality of the events there is neither time, nor desires.
The author of the play Philippe Lelush prepares the French screen version of the work. It will play a role of the hero which in «Game» plays Kutsenko the truth, and the female image on itself was taken by spouse Lelusha Vanessa Demui
This immersion is based not only on Shamirov’s firm "machine-gun" witty dialogues, but also on actor’s game. Again it is necessary to look with an open mouth at how changes in Shamirov Gosha Kutsenko’s films. Refusing "aping" which very much like to use in modern comedies, Kutsenko turns almost into the tragedian, such Piero, sad, strewing the sad sharpnesses, eternally enamoured, but eternally lonely. Is well matched for it and Konstantin Yushkevich for whom Shamirov literally became the conductor at big cinema. As poured in Irina Apeksimova working with the director still over "Exercises", and Dmitry Maryanov were entered in the close company. And this four keeps the auditorium in suspense not worse than many thousands mass meetings and mullions-strong special effects.
