On the eve of Thanksgiving Day all studgorodok parts on houses. Justin (Hailey Bennett) which remains in a campus in the company of several watchmen is no place to go only. Having left in shop behind supplies, it faces strange girl (Ashley Greene) who prophesies it fast death. And then the stranger starts to carry out the prophecy. It and some her friends kill young girls on all country and remove their death on video, and Justin – their next target.
At some instant "Christie" is inopportunely remembered the Soviet film "Office romance" – more truly, not he, and Leah Akhedzhakova who reacted to Alice Friendlich’s too dense eyebrows the indignant: «Same it is simply indecent!» It would be desirable to state this phrase in eyes to "Christie’s" director Olivier Blekbernu and screenwriter Anthony Yasvinski when it becomes clear that no double bottom or even a grungy, mean pseudo-unexpected twist in a picture will exist. Only one unarmed girl and some maniacs in masks which a solid hour will drive the victim on empty dark corridors that eventually that was tired to run and went over to the offensive.
Why "Christie’s" authors consider that to them in 2014 that was considered movetony about twenty years ago ("Shout" not out of the blue will escape punishment appeared, and and simply imitators even a postmodern in slesher turned its numerous sequels, clones in a platitude), it is not so clear – in sleeves they have no trump, short of, of course, those some recognizable attractive faces of "nedovzoshedshy" young stars. The same Ashley Greene after "Twilight" where only was not dishonored, Hayli Bennett long ago missed chance to become a star, having accepted a number of unsuccessful roles in weak films (and "Christie" will continue this history) and Loukas Till squanders Havok’s glory from «People Ickx: First class» really record rates.
Purely theoretically "Christie" can try to be pushed through on the category "oldskula" but even if so, on a nostalgic strunka Blackburn plays enough indifferently, but also, before eyes the small group of loonies in masks is too much examples of rather fresh thrillers in a genre «pursues the victim», since "Strangers" and «Vacancies on the victim» and finishing recent «At judgment night» and «To you the end». All mentioned films were not genre masterpieces, but their authors at least provided to the creations a suspense and the drive – in "Christie", unfortunately, both that and another is felt badly.
